We were putting together a (rather comprehensive) list of Charlotte’s restaurants and attractions when we realized that someone has already done that.
We recommend browsing the site Charlotte’s Got a Lot for dining and attraction information.
When searching for things to do or places to eat, we suggest you use their drop-down menu search feature on the right side of each page; we also recommend that you select “Center City,” “Elizabeth,” “Dilworth,” or “NoDa,” as these are convenient to the conference location, and in many cases, public transportation is available as well.
Even still, we put a few of our favorites here for your convenience.
Places to eat:
Center City– King’s Kitchen, Alexander Michael’s, and the Epicentre
Elizabeth– Nothing but Noodles
Dilworth/South End– 300 East, Mama Ricotta’s, Pewter Rose, Zen Asian Fusion, Pike’s Soda Shop
NoDa– Amelie’s, Boudreaux’s, Cabo Fish Taco, Crepe Cellar, Revolution Pizza
Things to do:
Center City– Levine Center of the Arts, McGill Rose Garden
Elizabeth– Mint Museum
NoDa– Center of the Earth Gallery
