One Response to Research

  1. Bob Robitaille says:

    Dr. Blanchard,
I am a doctoral student at Grand Canyon University. I found an interest in your research papers especially Followership styles and employee attachment to the organization. Psychologist-Manager Journal, 12(2), 111-131. doi:10.1080/10887150902888718. I am at the point of finalizing my research topic and am not able to get nailed down. I mean I think I know what I want to write on but am not sure
I am very interested in the follower’s behavior during change and how it affects the leader. Viewing this from the follower back to the leader. So, can follower’s behavior change their leader’s behavior? What effect can this have on organizational change?
A year ago I wrote to you and you mentioned to look further into the engagement construct – environment in which a follower feels safe in to engage. I am still thinking of this topic, but qualitative vs quantitative? How would one measure this? What tool?
Any other articles that you have are appreciated. Thank you for your time. Bob Robitaille.
