Mary Jo Shepherd is a lecturer in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at UNC Charlotte. She teaches courses in International and Comparative Politics. She also teaches and administers the award winning Model United Nations program.
Dr. Shepherd’s research interests are in Public Policy, Policy Process, Institutions, Economics and Budgeting. Dr. Shepherd is writing a book based on her award winning dissertation research entitled BCRA: Before Campaigning Retain an Attorney: Campaign Finance Statutes and Candidate Decisions with a January 2017 publishing date.
